There’s a well-known saying that goes « izay mitambatra vato, izay misaraka fasika » (literally translates to : sand scatters, rock unites) which I find so powerful yet so overlooked.
We’re so fortunate to call this land of diversity, different cultures, manners, morals, fauna, flora, you name it, home. But I like to think every time we invoke diversity, we must imply a deeper unity.
Look how we joined forces to cheer our athletes and how our collective yearning to achieve victory brought our soccer/football national team Barea to where it’s now. Something that for so long seemed impossible, until we joined together to make the impossible POSSIBLE.
That’s what Madagascar means to me so let’s find more things we can unite over rather than cause division among us because if we are united, what can’t we do ?
With love,
Euginella
